Creative Philosophy
Creativity Moves Lehigh Valley aims to support the development of the whole dancer through inclusive pedagogy and a holistic curriculum. We believe it is imperative to maintain a balance of research and experience based practices in the development of ourselves and our children. We value diverse forms of self-expression and encourage each individual to pursue authenticity through their artistry.
At CMLV, we employ a creative approach to dance education by placing an emphasis on process rather than product. We share our passion by exploring movement in a variety of genres through story-telling, improvisation, and PLAY! Learning is developed conceptually, focusing on the foundational movement elements of Body, Energy, Space, and Time. Reflection, self-awareness, and personal growth are paramount to our practice.
